The local news affiliates are reporting the Mormon church in the city, which is located between Flint, MI and some fifty miles north of Detroit, suffered an attack during services around 11 a.m. this morning, with multiple casualties. The call came in before 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on McCandlish Road in Grand Blanc.
The shooter is down, and the church is ablaze. -- ...Police said around 11:25 a.m. that the shooter is “down” and there is no threat to the public. The church is still on fire.
