Met A Celebrity?

I was working as a bus-boy in a hotel in Banff Alberta many years ago and there was a celebrity ski weekend around Christmas time.
I don't know it if counts or not, but I cleared the tables during the dinner for Brook Shields, Arnold Schwarzenegger, William Shatner, and a bunch of other ones. Not to be bothered too much by the public, they used the staff passages and elevators to move around the hotel at times, and I did manage to get a hello from Brook Shields as we passed each other.

I've 'met' Dave Chapelle at a local Dick's sporting goods store. He was looking into buying some mini-motorcycles for his kids. I didn't actually talk to him though, more of a 'I saw him' situation.

I've met and talked to Candy Coburn many times. Once you get over the novelty that someone is a celebrity, they aren't as great as their fans paint them to be and I don't say that to be mean. The fans seem to make them out to be gods or titans to be worshiped.

I suppose a fan would tell me that I am taking it for granted.

Celebrities; They're just like you or myself getting through life. She's a nice person and she's married and she's always going on tour. We're friends, but not close friends.
