Meteor filmed crashing to earth during Modest Mouse concert
A concert going had an out-of-this-world experience recently when they captured a meteor flying through the sky while filming a gig.

The lucky spectator was enjoying the tune of indie band Modest Mouse when they saw the burning streak illuminate the sky.

Perhaps Modest Mouse stirred up the cosmic spectacle themselves? After all, they were playing a tune called Dark Center of the Universe (no, they actually were).

It is unclear if the person with the camera realised at the time the amazing serendipity they had captured. They can be heard screaming with joy, but that could just be due to the pumping gig unfolding in front of them.

The footage was filmed in Austin, Texas on Saturday night, and NASA have confirmed that a meteor did land in Texas around this time.

Weird they were playing Dark Center of the Universe when this happened.
