Personally I find it a little disconcerting and tedious reading a thread where the font size/style and colours of the posts keeps changing. Also, there are one or two folks who have decided to use quite a small font and this makes reading their posts more difficult than it should be.
Changing fonts/sizes/colours is ok if it's only used to accent something, but not when all posts by particular members are formatted that way.
Forums are all about reading and communication, so the text should be formatted in a clear way for all members.

i agree...........on another forum where we didnt really have this function we had a new member who always posted in blue.........it was the most annoying thing!.....generated quite a bit of piss taking for a while (mind you, his posting style didnt help

and that gets REALLY tiresome and hard to read

That reminds me.. Lets all be mindful of people using dark or light skins. Select a color that will look good on both or just use the forum default and there wont be any problems with readability.
