I posted this on another forum, but wanted to post here to get reactions as well.
My husband and I were waiting to get into a local attraction and a mom with her two kids were waiting beside us. The mom said loudly, "Don't look at my phone. I've caught you doing this a lot lately and you need to mind your business. It's a habit lately that I'll break you of and you need to just mind your own business."
My first thoughts were, what was she hiding from her own child?
What are your thoughts on what the mom said to the boy? Did he deserve such a reprimand?
OH and I heard a few minutes after that the boy announcing the time because he saw it elsewhere and that's why he was looking on his mom's phone. He was wondering how many minutes left we had to wait outside before the place opened up.
