I got this idea off a similar topic on FP. But anyways, what to you is a pretty disturbing song or music video?

Maybe not disturbed but defiantly explicit

Seriously. 18+

I know two music videos that are disturbing, like Becoming Insane by Infected Mushroom. It's a decent song but the sight of two people uppercutting themselves in the face and running into a brick wall isn't something I'd like to see. Another is Hide U by Kosheen. I know they're not as disturbing as what other people have posted but, yeah. There are to me, especially the latter :\

This song was posted in another thread but I think it works well in this one.

Then I'll just bring up another one that could NOT be made today because of the perceived sexualization of children.

So... Icy Sci... Are we at least in the ball park for what you had in mind?

Y'all might be. I'll need some time to listen/watch those though

Dark Half recently got this out.

1. NOBODY could make this video now and stay out of court before they were done shooting it. That and possibly avoid having to testify about being insensitive to 'them' in front of a US Senate committee just for trying to do it.

2. NOBODY but Olivia could make it THEN, and get away with it.

This was 1981, and She is (as I remember referring to her when I had a middle of the night radio show.... ) Olivia Neutron Bomb.

There is no way you could make this one today and not end up being sued, protested, and boycotted by everybody and their dog.

I don't mind seeing several pretty girls dancing in their lingerie, but those that are overly PC say they do.

I thought people were complaining about the increase of those things in modern music videos...

I do remember that there were objections to this one because it was too suggestive.

Yeah, It was.

And Toni Tennille had written the song for her husband with exactly that in mind.

But that didn't matter in the least to the social do-gooders.

Of course, the fact that she was drop dead gorgeous didn't hurt at all.
