Not sure if it is the same day for all countries but the UK has Mother's Day this Sunday. What are you planning to get for your mum? Or have you not got anything just yet?

I still have plenty of time to plan something special. Mother's Day is May 8th in the US.

Because of my mother's situation, I mostly just buy her a special cake or something just for her and tell her it's a special day, but she doesn't really understand anymore. So it's not a big day for us, just a day where we try to make it feel better for her.

I know it's late but it was just a normal day that I need up sending flowers and made her day pooped as I have not given her a card :( and she was not happy most of the day and so that was a rip.

Flowers was around 3$0 also :( WHYYYYY

I still have plenty of time and so far I have ordered an air fryer for her that she's been wanting to get. Instead of flowers that are not only expensive but die after awhile, I'm going to get her a houseplant (just not sure what type yet).

@Demon_skeith Sorry to hear of your mom passing :(
I still have both my parents for which I don't take for granted. They are my best friends. We don't celebrate holidays or occasions but rather focus on each day as being a gift.
With that said though, I do make an extra effort to say Happy Mother's Day (or whatever the holiday is lol).

My brother got my Mom a gift certificate for a day at the spa. She's gonna love it.

I used to buy some good meals for my mom during this special occasion. Now, I cannot do it anymore because she is in heaven now.

It has come and gone but I always get something nice for her. I love my mum a lot and I will continue to make her smile
