So basically here in November for men it's called Movember.

Basically you don't shave your mo in November and then compete with others as to who has the best mo, longest etc.

Does this sort of thing happen where you live and if so do you ever take part in it?

Never heard of this.

A little bit of info

Yeah we do that around this area and my brother does it but to be honest I think he just likes being lazy and not shaving for a month. As a girl that doesn't really find facial hair attractive I look forward to December. Good on those that take part for raising awareness of mens health issues though.

Yeah, sometimes, but as a woman who doesn't grow facial hair, I can't partake in the month of Movember. xD

Why are you calling it a "mo" like thats the normal every day word for mustache or beard? :P

Anyway, over the last few years a few people at my work have been doing it, but not me. I like a clean shaven face. :)

This is "Moe", and I have seen Mr. Howard's name spelled without the 'e' by those who don't know any better.

I've had a beard for over 25 years and have NEVER called any sort of facial hair by that term.

If somebody was trying to be cute by naming their campaign that, they failed. It's stupid.

Since I've long had a large, handlebar-type mustache, I usually just try to grow out a beard during Movember to go along with it...
