Movies are 100x better when you don't watch the trailer.

A post I read somewhere on the interwebz:
I want to share with you something that has made movies 100x more enjoyable. Don't look at the trailer.

Try this experiment (you won't regret it): Do extremely light research on an upcoming movie (to know it exists), and then without any real knowledge, go see it. I like certain directors and actors. Example, I know Quentin Tarantino is directing a movie coming out this Spring. I will go see it, knowing nothing else other than the release date.

Trailers these days seem to ruin movies. They give away significant details, or key jokes. You know you'll go see Deadpool or the Hobbit, so why even bother seeing the trailer?

Do you think this is worth a shot?

From what I've read in reviews, In Most Cases, "if you've seen the TV commercial, you've seen the movie".

So, save yourself the expense and headache of going to the theater to listen to other people yap back and forth through the whole thing.

Uhh how else do you judge it? What I hate is reading the reviews or opinions of people before/after watching it. Seeing he trailer before is ideal imo

Found the thread on it. I also find that the trailers show the best parts of the movie too... It's one reason I avoid trailers for movies honestly.

I try to avoid trailers to this day. I have an unlimited pass at my local movie theater so I can just go see everything thats playing. If one is a dud, oh well. It was "free" for me anyway.

I've not been to one since Jumanji: The Next Level came out, so before COVID shut everything down... Like 2019 iirc. it was an ok movie, but didn't care much for it.

They're open now, you should go see a movie :D
