What are some things everyone needs to know when moving out on their own for the first time?

Read every word of your lease. Ask questions about anything you don't understand. Take a picture of every single scratch, mark or anything broken when you move in. You will be surprised what the landlord will try to charge you for.

I moved out for 2 years and it was an utter fail.
I'm now back living with parents and I like it because I can sort out my life etc.

Once I have cleared some of my debt, and got some money in savings and paid off my court debt (30 a week i could put into savings...) I will then decide what I want to do.

I'm only 23 and not in any hurry to move out not after what happened with me and my ex.

Nothing surprises me when it comes to landlords and the shady lows they stoop to when it comes to keeping all your deposit money and sometimes even suing you for even more money.   Been there done that multiple times.

Knowing all the details of renting -assuming your renting, budgeting your money, bill payment dates
