Mum and daughter stabbed over dog poo row

A mother and her daughter have been stabbed after a row over dog poo.

Emergency services were called to a home in Springfield, Massachusetts, US, to find the two women, aged 46 and 23, with multiple stab wounds.

An hour before, police had attended the property following reports of a dispute over dog faeces on communal stairs.

According to police, the situation was resolved, but after they left the situation became violent.

Michael Valentin, 33, is accused of stabbing his upstairs neighbours.

The mother was stabbed several times in the back, while the daughter suffered wounds to her face, according to police.

They were both taken to hospital and are in a stable condition.

Valentin has been charged with two counts of armed assault with intent to murder, and mayhem.

That was a shitty thing for him to do!
