Do you like going to Museums?

Do you have any interesting ones in your area?

I do; in this 'temporary' place I call home there are several, and back in 'real home' there are tonnes of museums in the area, and the greater region.

I've been to a couple but found them quite boring, but i am sure if it is something that interests me i will enjoy it, mind you, when i went to them that was a few years ago, I'm more open minded now-days.

Love, love wax museums but I haven't been to one in years.

I've been in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh lots of times and in the Imperial War Museum in Manchester once. I only go to the NMOS on his holidays for when my cousins in Edinburgh wants to go there

Wax museums are creepy.

There are museums... and then there are Museums.

This is one of the latter.

It has the single largest collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the world.

If that name doesn't mean anything to you, you have missed something in life.

If you go to Orlando, skip Disney, go see something beautiful in Winter Park.

Being a resident - I agree...just avoid the Walgreens around the corner from where I live...someone just got ganked.

I've been to a wax museum in Hong Kong. Really really nice.

I enjoyed the Smithsonian museums in DC, especially the aviation and space exploration one (forgot what it's called and am kinda lazy to Google it).

Oh fun! Where was that?

Yes, I've visited quite a few, though most of them were a long time ago. It's something I really enjoy, and if I get the chance, I’d go again any day.

I remember visiting a museum/cave where most of the materials used for the wax models were natural. The dresses, shoes, and uniforms were authentic, and even the mannequins' hair was real. Many of the weapons, pots, books, and other items were original.

I've been to so many, and each one was a great experience
