Music Class in schools

Schools are always cutting music programs and classes in the schools.



Do you think music is an important part of school or something that can be done away with? Why?

It can be done away with (note, I'm biased, I didn't like 'em much

). These music classes only teach the very basics (in my experience anyway).

In any case they could probably spend that time teaching kids to spell...
