What are some of your best and/or worst music festival experiences?

I realise this is an old thread, but I thought I'd reply (I've been gone a long time, so loads of stuff here is "new" to me still!).

Not so much a single experience, but I go to a festival called Bloodstock every year and every year I have an amazing time. It tends to have a good mix of great bands (including some new discoveries - particularly on the New Blood Stage), a fantastic atmosphere and brilliant people. Admittedly, sometimes there are a few rubbish bands (or those not quite to my tastes!) and you get the odd idiot in the campsite, but overall it's great. Oh, and sometimes the toilets leave a bit to be desired, but they are by no means the worst festival toilets I've ever experienced!
