My Off Topix Routine

I'm starting to get into a routine when I log in.



My first stop will often be the Chit Chat thread to say Hi to everyone.

Then I check out the 'View New Content'

Then check the news sites for any topics I think might be of interest.

Then add any other new topics I can think of myself.



So, do you have a 'routine' ?

I also have a routine:

• Check Staff Area for any new content or content I need to reply to.
  
• Reply back to PM's (if necessary).
  
• Check to see if anyone is celebrating a birthday - If needed, create a birthday thread for them.
  
• Say hello to everyone in the Shoutbox area.
  
• Say hello to everyone in the Chit Chat area.
  
• View new content.
  
• Start my search for new topics to add.
  
• After posting some new topics, I will then start posting in threads of interest to me.

I sometimes forget the shoutbox is there

@Chatsie: I think some members still don't know we have a shoutbox. I didn't even see it for two days because I don't scroll down that far on the index page.

Some forums have their shoutbox at the 'top' of the index page,

probably for the same reason

@Chatsie: To be honest, I hate when the shoutbox is on the top. It for some reason annoys me.

To be even more honest, I don't like shoutboxes to begin with.
