There's one very important difference.
Cheney is off to the Old Politician's Home.
Pelosi is still in power.

But if you're not 'in politics' you have to have a lot of money to control an influence.
And if you are exerting said influence and control... wouldn't you actually be 'in politics' then?
And then wouldn't you be just as contaminated by all the crap, corruption, BS, and general evil that covers everybody in the trade like a second skin as the rest of them?

As for Pelosi, I love it how her image and name is being used in so many campaign ads, comparing some of the worst liberals in office to her - those who are up for re-election. The same is being done with Obama's image. The ads will show the liberal candidate and those two in the background while saying failed policies, higher taxes, etc. Brilliant campaigning.
