Outsports: NCAA says it's 'concerned' about Indiana's new anti-gay law
NCAA President Mark Emmert today issued a statement following the signing of SB 101 by Indiana Gov. Mike Pence:

"The NCAA national office and our members are deeply committed to providing an inclusive environment for all our events. We are especially concerned about how this legislation could affect our student-athletes and employees. We will work diligently to assure student-athletes competing in, and visitors attending, next week's Men's Final Four in Indianapolis are not impacted negatively by this bill. Moving forward, we intend to closely examine the implications of this bill and how it might affect future events as well as our workforce."

I'm not quite sure how the NCAA will ensure an inclusive environment for all, now that businesses can legally discriminate against LGBT people. It's not like the NCAA can now force businesses in the area to allow service to everyone visiting for the Final Four. As far as long-term prospects, the NCAA should move all major events out of the state, even if its national headquarters remains.

....what should the NCAA do in this case? Simple: move every event of record out of the Hoosier State; if they can do this in regards to South Carolina & Mississippi in regards to displays of the Confederate battle flag a certain treasonous rag, then they should do the same here...

Players who never attend class (NC for example), being paid (USC, UNLV, Alabama, etc), taking performance enhancing agents (take your pick), isn't a problem.

Some unenforceable law in the smallest state west of the Appalachians, IS a problem.

Give me a break.

So, what would you recommend, Doc? :| :|
