Near Death

I was when I was 7 years old. I was jumping on some old wood planks in the woods behind my backyard. Little did I know at the time, there was a yellow jack bees nest under the planks. The yellow jackets stung me over and over. They were up my shorts and all over my face. I am allergic to bee stings. I told the friend that was with me to hurry and go get my dad. I started having a problem breathing and could feel my throat closing up. I knew that if I started to panic, it would just make matters worse. Thank goodness my dad was home and he called for the ambulance. He also brought me my medication and by the time the ambulance arrived, I was not in labored breathing due to the medication kicking in. Due to the amount of bee stings I received, I was taken to the hospital and stayed overnight for observation. If my dad wasn't home, I wouldn't be typing this right now. Taught me a lesson not to go anywhere without my EpiPen.

When I was born, I was very premature. I was on life support or whatever the baby equivalent is for 2 weeks, according to my mom.

And when I got hit by a car last June, I nearly died of septicemia because the hospital didn't properly clean the wound after they operated.
