Gah.. 1st time here in a couple days. I hope my dsl modem comes tomorrow like its supposed to!



I took my comcast cable box and modem back to the comcast office today. That took $230 off my bill. I still owe them like $400 though. I guess I will pay that back a little at a time. I dont want to give them all that money at once.

Well they sent it UPS.. I dont know that works. When I get a package in the regular mail, they just leave a note on the door if Im not home and I go to the post office and pick it up. I hope UPS doesnt just leave it on the door step as someone could steal it!

Most of the time electronics have to be signed for. And they'll try 3 times to deliver. You could call UPS or whoever you bought it from and ask for a tracking #. That should give you and estimated delivery time.

You ordered the same speed I have at the moment. It sucks man. Cause I tend to download a lot and it pisses me off. Takes light-years to download a file. Good luck with it.

But hey, at least it's something.

I dont care about downloading that much. I just want something that allows me to browse forums, check emails, and play yahoo games. I think crappy dsl will do fine.

Well I got a hold of UPS and they said that my package is scheduled to be delivered today (while im at work), so I have to wait for them to leave a note on my door, get the tracking whatever number off the note and call back to ask if I can go pick up my package at their office or try to get them to deleiver it while Im at home... I dont see why they cant just process my request right now... But I guess that would be too easy.

I called to check the status of my package and they said they left it on my doorstep

So I took lunch early and ran home to get it. It wasnt there, I guess they went into my backyard and left it on my back porch. Which is alright.

I just set everything up. Guess I should be getting back to work now.
