Nebulous's Daily Exercise Log

August 15th 2010

Same as August 14th 2010:

  • Took my lil one and myself to the gym. We went swimming. I did about 10 laps in between playing with the lil one and helping her learn to swim some more. She is almost there.
  • She went rock climbing while I used some of the nearby equipment. Its all equipment to work on your legs.

August 16th 2010

  • Did 2 miles on the treadmill (running and walking fast).
  • 1 mile on the standing cycle thingy mabobber machine.

  • 10 minutes on ab cruncher machine
  • Did another mile on the treadmill.
  • 6 laps in the pool



The hot tub was closed today for maintenance. Was looking forward to sitting in there for a while.

August 17th 2010

  • 2.5 miles on the treadmill. Did more running today than I usually do.
  • 10 minutes on the ab cruncher machine.
  • 1 mile on the elliptical
  • 12 laps in the smaller part of the pool. There is two long lanes and a section for general swimming or kids to play in (length of that part of the pool it is about 10 feet shorter than the lanes). The lanes were occupied today. There was like this professional swimmer looking woman in there. She was zooming back and forth. I was going to ask her for some pointers but she got up and left really quick. Probably because some creepy Nebulous was staring at her.

Anyway my routiens seem to be about the same everyday now. Guess Ive found something Ive gotten used to. It seems to be working because Ive lost about 10 pounds. There is still about a million machines I have not tried there yet.

Ive also found that exercising is getting easier and I can challenge myself more than I could have a little over 2 weeks ago when I joined.

  • 2 miles on the treadmill
  • 10 minutes on the ab crunch machine (at 80 pounds)
  • 1.5 miles on the elliptical
  • 10 more minutes on the ab crunch machine (this time at 100 pounds)
  • 6 laps in the pool

My daughter was at a birthday party all day so I went by myself. She is usually with me on the weekend and we just go swimming the whole time then she goes on the rock wall.
 
This thread is useless without the before and after pictures.

I can look back at what I did yesterday or a week ago and see if I did more or less today.

Was only kidding Nebulous. I think what you are doing is great. You have proved you are committed and that you didn't need a personal trainer to help you. Very few people that I know stick with it like you have. Seems like you've got a routine down that's working and for that I admire you. Keep up the great work

Didnt go to the gym.. Had to work double shifts that day.



August 24th 2010

  • 3 miles on the treadmill
  • 10 minutes on the ab cruncher machine
  • 2 miles on the elliptical
  • 10 minutes on the ab cruncher machine
  • 10 laps in the pool.
  • Lifted some weights for a few minutes because I seen someone I know in the weight room.



My work out seems to be less challenging for me because I was able to do more on everything I usually do and it wasnt that hard. Guess I need to start taking it up a notch.

Well I went a few times since my last post but I have not been writing in here.. My routine is pretty much the same with some slight variations sometimes so I don't think I need to be writing the same thing over and over anymore.

Today I just did a mile on the treadmill and a mile on the elliptical.. Then a few laps in the pool. Did not have much energy today. Must have been those two 16 hour work days Monday and Tuesday. Today (Wednesday) I did not have to work my other job but I was out running around doing errands all morning before work.
