Necroposting

When someone decides to go on a necroposting spree, it kind of gets overwhelming for the rest of us. A couple here and there is more my style.

Totally agree. It's overwhelming especially when the posts make no contribution. It's also disheartening when others have spent a lot of time posting new topics and they're getting buried in all of the necroposting.

Yeah, it turns navigating the Today's Posts page into a joke. It's hard to decipher what's new and what's old. The rest of us get inconvenienced just because someone wants an over inflated post count in a hurry, instead of building up a respectable post count over time.

I've went on a few posting sprees here, specifically in the Poll Booth subforum. I do try to add relevant replies, though. I just like to browse around the place, and when I feel the need to add something, I do. With that being said, I see no harm in necroposting.

I think people bitching and griping about necroposting is stupid and immature. The whole point to forums is posting and nothing else.
