Video games aren't to blame for this tragedy(By the way, I liked that video), it is the mental health of the shooter.
I played my first M-rated game at 14 and I didn't feel any need to kill people.
In fact, I've even taken shooting lessons in 4-H since I was young. Sure, I have somewhat of a handle on a gun and I even possess a pellet gun, but only for self-defense.
If I shoot someone's head off in Call of Duty, do I feel like going out and doing that to real people? Of course not, as I'd rather not suffer the consequences and have to deal with the fact that I killed a person.
In fact, the most harm I may do to people is emotionally, for what I have in store for my novels.(even my current one.)
Anyways, video games, anime, television shows and literature have nothing to do with it. I like to see violence in media, but as long there's a reason for it to happen.
I guess should trash my novel, since it's got violence and guns in it
