New games or second hand?

Do you tend to buy new games, or do you go for second hand ones? Is it just for money reasons, or because you want to try then out first?

I buy both new and second-hand. New ones for my 3DS, second-hand for my Wii and PS2.

New ones, second hand doesn't really work all that well when the serial code is already in use for the multiplayer.

Used when its just some cheapy $5 or $10 used wii game that my lil one wants. She can get several games that way and have more fun.

It's usually cheaper to buy it used, then buy the code on the PSN store/XBL.

I buy either. Depends how much I want the game when it comes out.

For me, it depends. If it's a game that I'm really anticipating and know I'm going to be playing for a while (like Skyrim, for example) I'll buy it new. Otherwise, used.
