My resolution last year was to move somewhere better (had lived in a crappy tiny little old place that was in a bad neighborhood for 4 years), so I moved to a house in a (unknowingly) worse neighborhood. Sure I had more space and more bedrooms but I was still miserable. Six months later I finally moved to a duplex that I really love.

Hopefully my resolution this year won't take over 10 months to be resolved. I still have to think of one though.

To try and stop biting my nails

I did this all my life but got out of the habit by buying stick-on nails!



They come with really strong glue, you stick them on on Sunday and they last most of the week.

I used to keep the glue on me so that if they came off you could restick them and then on Saturday I'd pick them all off.

You can't bite your nails because they're covered in bits of hard glue but by Sunday it's all picked off and your nails have had a rest so you can stick the next lot on.



The nails come in beautiful designs and everyone admires them and says how gorgeous they are!

It makes you want to keep them nice.

Try it and see.

I gave up on making New Year's resloutions as I never stuck with any them.

Same here, actually.. I tried making resolutions when I was younger, but I could never stick to them, or if I could, they never lasted more than a week at the most. So I thought to heck with it, I'm not trying that again.



Edit: I take that back. I have a resolution that'll be fairly easy to resolve. I resolve to find a job that will not affect my asthma symptoms.
