I've been a fan of Nintendo games for as long as I can remembe. From classic titles like Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda to newer games like Splatoon and Animal Crossing, Nintendo has given us some of the most memorable gaming experiences over the years.

Which Nintendo games are your favorites, and why? Are there any titles that you think are underrated or overlooked? And what do you think makes Nintendo games stand out from those of other developers?

Legend of Zelda
Super Mario
Kirby

Soo many good franchises by Nintendo and such I love.

Never got in Legend fo Zelda, had a game on Gameboy which was fun but outside of that, never found them that great. Windwaker was alright....

Pikmin anyone? Great little game on the Gamecube.

I never got into Pikmin but I never liked Lemmings either and that game is somewhat similar to Pikmin. I was a Sega kid growing up, but I do love Mario, Kirby and Pokémon is my second favorite gaming franchise of all time so I enjoy Nintendo games too!

I never got into Pikmin either myself.

I forgot why this was pinned by me. I guess so we do not have 100 Nintendo topics :O

I have the switch. A bunch of mario games. I also LOVE celeste! Did anyone else get stuck at points in the Mario games?
I got stuck in world one :( crazy, lol
Had mine for a while here and hardly play it tbh. I played pokemon scarlet/violet for a bit, then stopped. Plan to play the new Zelda hopefully next month.

Man, you guys missed out. I wouldn't really say play them now as they have probably aged a bunch xD
Yeah, you are right with the Lemmings reference to a degree. Everyone has their own tastes though! :P

I got stuck on Super Mario Sunshine back in the day and then just refused to play it because I couldn't beat a certain level xD

Kinda Nintendo-related, Is anyone going to watch the new Super Mario movie? Or has already been to see it, what are your thoughts? Worth seeing?

Good but too predictable. Crap ratings, but I'd say it's enjoyable if you've ever played the games. If at some point in the past, it brings back nostalgia, and if you play it, it's just, well, a typical gaming show.

I have to admit, though, I doubt the movie would be too popular if the game wasn't. Just one of those things

Oh yeah, I know. I just never really enjoyed it much. I may try with the newest one.
I dunno how the newer one is (Pikmin 3) on the Nintendo Switch.
The game would certainly suit the switch and am not surprised they have rebooted the game.

I am glad it isn't just another gaming movie bomb like the majority of them are.
Maybe I won't go and pay to see it at the cinema, but I certainly keep an eye out for it when it comes onto streaming services :D

Looking at the sales it's done/doing really well.
Approaching 700m gross, already beating the best box office hit of last year in its second weekend.

---

Hopefully they don't take it as a sign to do more, just leave it as a single standalone xD

yeah it’s doing well due to the game popularity. wouldn’t call it the best movie out or anything close lol

I always liked Peach too.

Always wished they would of done a sequel for Super Princess Peach.

I am hoping they still do Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess on Switch...
