I think my grandmom used to do that. Thick drapes, the room stayed dark and cool, but fans too.

Lots of ice cubes and cold drinks

Dark shades on windows during sun shining in

Blow cooler air IN at night and hot air OUT during the day

I've never had ac and we moved upstairs now so it might be a brutal summer ahead. Everyone stay safe and healthy in the elements.

I guess. I just know I live in Florida so they're always a nice sea breeze so windows open helps for me.

Go to Wal-Mart and buy a really big fan until you can get your AC fixed. I have two fans in case this happens.
