I am a fan of the 1922 original and Werner Herzog's 1978 remake. The former is easily my favourite vampire movie. Everything I have seen and heard about this remake gives me hope but still, can lightning really strike a third time?
I actually enjoy a lot of silents. The German Expressionists like F W Murnau who made Nosferatu put some incredible images on the screen that still influence films today.
It will be nice to see this. I've seen the original.
