I'll second this.A lot of young people act as though tattoo's are worse than abusing drugs or kissing the devil. A lot of over exaggeration. But I think tattoos are right up there with sex, drugs, teen pregnancy and rock and roll.

But for me giving blood and taking it is not quite torture but it is never a pleasant experience. If I get a good nurse it usually only takes her around three times to get my vein right to draw the blood. And if I get a not so experienced nurse she usually tag teams me with another nurse as they both try up to six times. So when I leave I got bandaids all over my arm like a heroin addict. And then to just get one tiny vile filled up takes a few minutes with that damn needle in my arm. Ive been told by them it is some kind of defensive mechanism your body does to protect itself. So the one time I was convinced to give blood was not a pretty picture and they ended up pocking me in the hand to find a cooperative vein. It is no wonder every time the doctors want my blood I won't go until my wife just gets so angry with me and walks to the place.
I'd say giving blood and getting a tattoo. Before I gave blood and had a tattoo I heard all kinds of horror stories about how bad it was and such but once I went and had these things done myself I wondered what all the fuss was about.
