The Tenth Month of a General Election Year.
As the days tick down to 6 November, those who watch these things from the cheap seats start to wonder....
What will this year's OCTOBER SURPRISE be?
In years past it has been everything from the clame that Peace is at hand which was a lie, and the infamous Dukakis tank commercial (which was actually first run in September) but backfired badly in October, and so on.
What will it be this year?
A major defection from Obama's team to Romney, or vise versa. More smoke in the mid-east? Somebody from Romney's camp blowing the whistle on 60 minutes about something? A Chicago skeleton slipping out of Obama's closet?
One or the other of the figureheads saying something even more stupid than usual in a debate that can't be spun in time?
All of the above?
