There are risks when it comes to deep sea diving, we can't take one incident and multiply that by 100 and use that to define getting into a submarine. Any submarine that deep dives runs the risk of imploding, especially at 13,000 feet.

Hopefully this asshole will leave the kids at home, unlike the OceanGate asshole..

But really this just gives factual support to the idea that the super-wealthy are not much more than sociopaths and it is reason #2,567,978,024,178 why they should NEVER be trusted..

But even in this case, history repeats itself.

You couldn't pay me to get into a sub. I've heard so many horror stories from those who were in the Navy. They call them underwater coffins. Yeah.....not for me.

I gotta find the image.. but maybe as a fellow Imgurian you can help me, but there is this big ass image that is fucking long as hell that details the shit you can find in the ocean and worse because we still havent discovered it all yet.. but the deeper you go, the scarier what you'll find will be.

To put it plainly, we know more about outer space than we do what's in our oceans and that is the reason why I am keeping my Black ass away from the deep sea.. and it is because of this, that I won't rule out the possibility of finding creatures down there that existed during prehistoric times but survived extinction because we STILL DON'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY EXPLORE THE DEEP SEA EVEN WITH WHAT WE HAVE INVENTED. That is, unless we use robotics and I think even that might have its limitations.. and on this, I have the same philosophy with outer space. I am eternally fascinated by both as a science nerd.. but I am ok with relying on the secondary and tertiary experiences of others..

I used to watch NOVA on PBS as a kid and I remember vaguely the episode I watched where they talked about the deep sea and between that and what I learned in Animal Science as a freshman is well more than enough to keep me out of the deep sea.. anyway if I can find the image, I'll post back with it..

And we could've gotten a helluva lot further along, Angel, had Tricky Dick not decided on ditching the Apollo-era spacecraft and long-duration spaceflight for the flashy but ultimately impractical Space Shuttle.

First the Hunter gif from way back, and now Tricky Dick? I guess us Gen X'rs and Xennials gotta stick together.. lol

But that is the first time I have ever seen this reference on a forum.. so thank you for that.. lol the first time I ever saw it was on this old ass rouge-like DOS game called Alphaman where it and other members of his cabinet popped up as references for usernames if you didn't pick one yourself.. I'm about to fire up DosBox on my tablet just to play it later on..

Anyway, it really isn't surprising what he have lost just from that party's presidents from that era.. but hopefully we'll be able to make up for everything we've lost since then with a new and more informed generations that came after.
