OMG OVERREACTION!

[quote name='Rapunzel']Is it the wry British sense of humour coming to the fore or is it just my sad little mind finding something funny that no body else finds in the least amusing?

Thankyou. That makes me feel less like a muppet.

I have a very dry and quite warped sense of humour which I find many people IRL just don't get.

So they think I'm weird.

However, I have found that people on the internet are generally more open to a bizarre sense of humour and will laugh at my jokes and puns rather than just putting me aside as 'weird'.

Nice replies that have nothing to do with forum discussions.

The original question didn't appear to be specific to forum use, yes, it was in the forum discussion department, but online use was not specified and the generalization to real life was natural to the way it was worded.

OMG OVERREACTION!

Have you ever seen someone overreact to what other people say? Perhaps they read something out of context or got the wrong perception of what was being said.. Jumped to conclusions.. Or was just being exaggerating of the situation?

Yep.. A topic posted in the forum discussion department would indicate that the discussion would be pertaining to forums..
