When was the last time you were completely surprised?

Thankgiving morning when I checked my emails. My ex who disappeared from my life after a 15 month LDR sent me a message and an e-card. I hadn't heard from him for months. When he stopped contact, I tried emailing him..nada, I tried calling him on his cell phone...nada. Then out of the blue he sends a very long Thanksgiving message to me and a very romantic e-card.

WTF! (sorry for my abbreviated cuss words) but I just couldn't believe my eyes. I did NOT respond and immediately blocked the email address this crap came from. Thank goodness he had an old cell phone number and couldn't reach me that way either.

Back in Spring 2002, when the girl (whom I considered as far outta' my league ballpark as possible) I was interested in happened to have a similar reciprocating sentiment.
