What's your opinion of somebody that swoops into a thread, makes a single offensive comment or derogatory statement, then never comes back to that thread to either explain themselves or justify their reason for doing so.



The trolls usually stir up an argument and stick around to keep it going for awhile.



I'm talking about somebody that come in (for examples from Off Topix): spouts off that the topic is childish, or calls a poster a racist... then vanishes from the thread.



That's not quite trolling, but it would appear to be a related condition.

For real I think they are mini trolls who haven't the guts nor brain power to even back up what they have said. I call them the hit and runs' and they can run but they can't hide forever

They annoy me, especially since I always have to point out how wrong and stupid they are and don't even get a reaction. XD

I think it's because they do it just to piss you off; in other words they don't care enough about the thread to even bother and go back to check what other members said about your reply.
