Television. I don't have one anyway, it's all boring rubbish aimed at the lowest common denominator and the licence/license is too expensive.
You can watch TV shows on your computer for free.
True but here you need a licence even for online watching and I can't afford it, don't believe there should be a licence and I don't even like television.

Is that a one time fee or do you have to pay that once a month? year?
One time fee? Not likely! Once a year.
So that works out to £13 a month. What does that £13 pay for exactly? Is it like a tax to use your tv and you still have to pay for TV service on top of that?
In effect, yes. Britain loves taxing people. It pays the overinflated salaries of BBC presenters. ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 get their revenue from advertising so it is just the BBC one is paying for. But under the law, you need a licence even if you don't watch BBC.
Are all those channels you mentioned free (aside from the license fee)?
