Recently I switched from virtualbox (due to refusing to run windows 98 & windows 2000) to hyper-v which does some similar things. Windows 98 doesn't run perfect but its usable on hyper-v. Anyone else use hyper-v for anything, and do you think in the future it could be a match for vbox/VMware

****EDIT*****
one thing does anyone know of a script to install many windows 2000 updates at once? if so can you post it

In laymans terms run a computer in a computer

I've never used hyper-v, but I've never really had any issues with Virtualbox. It runs very well on my system, and the IO is the only thing that has really kept me from running several at a time. :P

Then again, I'm not usually using my virtualbox VMs for anything serious, besides simply testing beta images and things of that sort. :P

Never tried hyper-v. I prefer VMware over vbox though.
