What do you usually use for cooking if you do BBQ
Gas, Charcoal, Electric.
Do you prefer Portable or In-built ?
and how often do you use a barbecue.

I don't BBQ. I live in an apartment with minimal room and an exposed balcony facing the freeway. It's not super healthy to BBQ stuff anyway for various reasons.

For many years I was a die-hard "charcoal only" griller, until I decided to try one of these Weber electric grills. I like it, quick, easy, dependable no time, expense or mess dealing with charcoal & delivers a tasty result.

Also outdoor, a small electric smoker. (Like EVERYTHING else, I see that the price of this has gone way UP. )

wow this look great the photos, you must be great with the BBQ:eat:

I was always wondering how the electric BBQ like the weber are if they do the same as the small grill that drop all the time the temperature?
because i hate that and make it hard to cook .
I just have at the moment a cheap small weber(gas) that i hate, does not cook good so i hardly use it and also i have the reversal grill the sunbeam that i use sometimes when i can not go out or want something quick .
I was planning before Christmas to get one bigger but not sure if i will they are very expensive and not getting another bad one
but charcoal are the best but too much time consuming when you want something quick for just the family but i guess they are ok for big gatherings but this days i don't do any

Thank You!❣️ .... I really do enjoy grilled meats; lots of people grill veggies, but I have not done that.

Retaining the heat: I have to stress the importance of keeping the lid on this electric grill open to a minimum once it gets pre-heated. (about 10 minutes) Open & close the lid quickly when you need to turn the meat over so that it will sear on both sides.
Open lid does not matter so much when using charcoal....the fire just gets hotter with open lid.

Beef steaks, pork chops, & boneless chicken pieces are pretty quick; 8-12 min. total cooking time on high heat.
These bone-in chicken pieces take quite a bit longer; maybe 5 min. each side searing on high heat, then about 25 min. on lower heat setting.
==========
I'm pretty well sold on the quality of the Weber brand; I see that they have a newer style, snazzy electric grill since I have looked at their website:

Edit: P.S. - - - These are NOT indoor grills!!

You know a lot thank for for all this fantastic information ... usually i never cooked a lot on the BBQ because most time i didn't even have time and other people used too and me mostly run like headless chicken for everything else when we used to do a big gatherings lol but also i had a better BBQ then .
This new weber wow cost a lot for the size but look good ..

and yeah i know are not indoors, and i don't prefer them much the indoors one .... the one i have the sunbeam i have it for years , sometimes i used it in the middle of the night... i cant go out and look crazy cooking on the BBQ at that time so i use it when it is very late so i will not look like crazy :rofl3:

Yes, the cost is extreme for me, too; but now it makes the one I have look like an old clunker Model T car. Actually, I will be content with the one I have & hope it does not break down. :)

I was pretty sure you knew this was not an indoor-cooking tool, (title of thread! ;)) but when I decided to post that pic I just wanted to make sure to make it clear to everyone since that looks like a small, very pretty kitchen appliance to me.

Is there a Costco store near you?
The one here has a new item (for them) .... a Ninja Electric Outdoor Grill. Ninja has become a pretty popular brand in the U.S. for cooking appliances; so, this maybe looks interesting. ?? And it's running a little better price (here); don't know how prices compare with where you are.

Different Costco locations carry different items, so I really have no idea if yours is/will be stocking this item or not.
My son lives in Japan & they have a Costco; but I think most of their products are more geared for Japanese sales. :) I know that their beef sales are pretty limited and the prices are outta sight!

Yes you are right not the same we don't have as much as you have there . and about BBQ i only see very few

True that, there is Costco in most cities around me and the one down the road can have a competely different selection sometimes.

GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker

When it comes to smoking meat at home, your options are usually limited to outdoor grills that burn charcoal, pellets or wood. If you live at a place where your landlord doesn't allow open flames, like apartments, then you're pretty much out of luck. The GE Profile Smoker ditches the flames for electric heating elements and brings low-and-slow smoking indoors.

The GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker is no gimmick either. It’s capable of infusing significant smoke flavor via wood pellets as we experienced first hand this week. There won't be any smoke wafting around your kitchen as the unit captures all of that with its filtration system. If you need to cook while you're away, a unique feature does that and then holds your food at a safe temperature until you're ready to serve. Toss in Wi-Fi for remote cooking and monitoring, cooking profiles and guidance, plus the Clear Smoke tool for when you need to open the door, and the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker has a lot to offer a range of skill levels.
