Anyone here ever get an Ouya console? It was a kickstarter that did well but fizzled out and ended in 2019.

It’s the first time I’ve heard of it but it’s definitely a interesting concept.

I am one that will be trying it out but I might ??

I think you can buy it only used now and I think the store is offline, so its whatever you can load on it which would be emulators and ROMs at this point I believe. Sad to see it go under.

Technology can be so unpredictable with what trends and what doesn’t.

I wanted to grab one, but never had the money when it was in production. I hope to find one used one of these days, because it was an interesting concept, an Android games console, it had to have had some good points to it!

I forgot why it was canned, apparently it didn't sell well enough, forcing the creators to sell it off between two companies.

Yeah, unfortunately sometimes things like that happened, The technology world is unpredictable some things sell while others don’t do so well.

Yeah, the Patreon was a success, they managed to launch (saw it in stores like Target here), but once it launched it just sort of plummeted and didn't get much traction. Very unfortunate!
