paranormal activity?

Yes. Kitchen faucet going on by itself while me and my ex were watching TV late evening. Wouldn't call any of the other things 'paranormal'.

A faucet is subject to changes in line pressure, a sudden decrease in pressure, such as two of your neighbors simultaneously using a lot of water and, then, just as suddenly stopping their demand, can make the faucet 'turn on by itself'.

Hm, I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me! It could be then that someone upstairs had done something like that. It happened in the USA. I've never had a faucet go on by itself in Finland.

There is probably a slight difference in their construction in Finland.

Over the years, and working for a decade in a building that DID have a known 'night shift' I had some practical experience debunking what was and what was not the result of something other than the mundane or routine.

When my Dad passed away, the one piece of furniture I took was an old rocking chair. He told me he used to rock me in that chair when I was a baby. Then he said when I was sick, he would sit in the rocking chair (which was in my room) and watch me sleep.

When I moved into my home, I put the rocking chair in my bedroom. One time I was so sick that I had to stay in bed for days. I only got up to use the restroom and drink fluids. Then one night, I heard a creaking sound. I turned on the lamp which was on my bedside table and the rocking chair was moving back and forth. The door to my room was closed as were the windows so it couldn't have been a 'draft' or a 'breeze' moving the chair.
