OK, but don't laugh. I was around 7, it was easter and I was up before the folks. So I did what any kid would do, I ransacked the house. There was a glass table at the end of a sofa, a card was sitting there. I moved the card.. Nothing. So I went back to rummaging.. Now I never left the living room and the house basically was set up like an H style.. Bedrooms at each end, kitchen and and living room in the middle... So I didn't see or hear anyone. Anyway I went back to the table.. I happened to knock the card over to look behind the lamp.. There was a pile of jelly beans.
When my Dad passed away, the one piece of furniture I took was an old rocking chair. He told me he used to rock me in that chair when I was a baby. Then he said when I was sick, he would sit in the rocking chair (which was in my room) and watch me sleep.
When I moved into my home, I put the rocking chair in my bedroom. One time I was so sick that I had to stay in bed for days. I only got up to use the restroom and drink fluids. Then one night, I heard a creaking sound. I turned on the lamp which was on my bedside table and the rocking chair was moving back and forth. The door to my room was closed as were the windows so it couldn't have been a 'draft' or a 'breeze' moving the chair.

I was in Indiana, I was playing a scrabble blast game, as I made a word the tiles fell and spelled Idaho. I struck that as weird.. Three days later I called my mother, I was told by my step father she had died, he couldn't find my number. I really feel she was trying to contact me, to let me know.
