Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy celebrating Thanksgiving.
I've heard a lot some of my friends say they would marry for money. Some girls I know said they wouldn't get serious with a man if he doesn't have good assets. I believe there's some truth to that. Money makes the world go round.
However to answer your question Jazzy I think passion is more important. I mean passion as in genuine unconditional love and not some school-girl crush.
Why do I feel that way?
Love is an amazing force of human nature. Of all the things on this earth that should matter most to any person ââ¬â it is love. Nothing else brings reason to life, essence to even humble souls, and redemption to all things. Nothing else is as universal as the concept of love. Cherish love. It will serve you to be timeless each moment and momentous each time. Donââ¬â¢t let anything obstruct something as precious and prized as the jewel of love.
^ I wrote this a couple years back as a teenager. Amid all the stress and pain of my childhood, I began to see how important love was...
Money, assets, houses, cars, food, safety, even health - all things that security provides can be easily taken away. I know this to be painfully true...
I agree providing for someone is a big part of showing you care, but you can't provide everything. Nothing you do in the world will ever stop the one's you love from getting sick or hurt, or feeling pain. Money cannot hug you or tell you things will be alright. Like what Cranos and Mr. Jazzy said. You could be living the most lavish and secure lifestyle, but without passion your spirit is like an empty furnace. A cold iron cage where there's no warmth or light to be found.
