PAX East 2015

It's coming up in the next week, March 6th-8th, in Boston, MA.  For those of you wondering what the hell PAX is, it is essentially your Comic-con of gaming.  There are concerts, console gameplays, exhibition halls, panels and much more. Often times, some big gaming news comes from the convention, so I'll be updating this thread if anything of note should arise.  Will anyone be attending PAX East or any of the other PAX conventions that take place (Seattle, San Antonio, Melbourne)?

Well I live in Europe so nope, definitely not. I know Arenanet announced an expansion for guild wars 2 a couple of weeks ago at PAX south and at PAX east they'll have a playable demo. Hopefully we'll get some interesting new info. I really want new dungeons or a raid but they've said nothing about new instanced content up till now.

I would go to the one in Seattle, but it's a 3 hour drive from here and typically I work on the weekends.  It sucks having to drive up and down interstate 5 in that traffic hell between a handful of major cities.

I've flown to seattle before, it was cheap flight and wasn't a long flight from what I remember.

From Portland, I believe it'd be a 45-50 minute flight, but fuck flying. I don't fly. xD

I think the last time I flew was when I was about 16 years old, so a long time ago.

We had terrible, terrible turbulence over Lake Michigan coming back from London. It was bad enough that we had loss of altitude and things flew off trays, etc.  I think that did it for me. xD

I was 14 at the time, and smart enough to know that we were going very fast and we were very high up, and that if anything went wrong we could plunge into Lake Michigan.
