People you don't like

When I come across a member I don't like on a forum I will just let them be. I won't quote their posts, I won't make conversation with that person. I don't see why I would leave the forum over someone I didn't like (unless it was the owner of the forum that I didn't like). Other than that if I don't like someone I just won't pay any attention to them.

The wonderful block button

It actually depends on WHY I don't like them... My rule of thumb is to never hate anyone I can't actually beat the tar out of with a rusty crowbar IRL. So I guess I just ignore/block them first and then report them if the situation escalates.

When you come across people you don like on forums, what do you do?

Do you ignore them? Engage with them? Leave the forum?

How do you handle that?
If there is an ignore option, I use it.

I'm too old to get into it with them anymore. I prefer to leave a forum happy rather than angry at someone else. I'm sure the forum admin would rather us use the ignore features, too.

I'm a really chill dude, and I'm at the age where if I don't like someone, it's because they are actually dumb as fuck. An example of this: Someone posts and says they think being gay is wrong.

For me, that is an instant trigger to dislike them and argue with them about their idiotic views. I can be petty, ngl. In a situation like that I'd 100% make it a point to call them out whenever I could.
