It's the Christmas season, meaning Peppermint everything! What are some of your favorite peppermint treats.

I like adding the mini candy canes to my decaf coffee in the morning :D

I've never been a big fan of adding peppermint to stuff. Don't care for that flavor being mixed with things, like a peppermint mocha Frappuccino from Starbucks for example. Just seems weird.

So no peppermint margarita for you?

I had never thought to add mini candy canes to coffee! This is new to me but it something I would love to try the next time I have a coffee now I know I can drink it using the right coffee syrups.

Candy Canes this time of year are my favourite and we always get them to add to the tree as a treat in the lead-up to Christmas.

Oh yes, try the candy canes! If you get the full size ones, probably 1/3 to 1/2 of one is perfect. I take it out of the plastic, put it in a ziplock bag and then use a rolling pin to break it up. Works great.

Definitely giving that a try when I next get some candy canes :) sounds perfect for Christmas time for sure and I am sure my kids would also enjoy it if they tried it :)
