So until the other year (2010 I think) here in the UK we were Mountain Dewless. Mountain Dew Energy was released and tbh, just taste like 7Up. Due to some of the ingredients of real, original Mountain Dew being banned in the EU we can't have it so they gave us some crap instead.

The only way to get proper Dew was to buy it from American food/drink specialist shops and pay a premium for it obviously as it is imported. But recently as the branding for Mountain Dew has changed to MTN DEW Pepsi Co have been blocking it from being sold in the UK. So now I can't buy proper Dew from anywhere, not even Code Red and Voltage. There is the American shop in town but they told me today they're starting to struggle to get ahold of any.

In short. I'm pissed off.

It's been fine, Pepsi were happy to have Mountain Dew imported for YEARS. It's only when they changed the branding to MTN DEW.

It seems there are multiple issues here, and several different sides to them.

MTN DEW No Longer Available – But Don’t Panic!

Due to EU regulations we have been requested to no longer sell or promote MTN-branded Mountain Dew and, as a responsible company, we have complied fully and with immediate effect. You can still purchase our top-selling Mountain Dew Code Red and Mountain Dew Energy though, so all is not lost!

In the E.U., BVO will never be permitted.
