Off Topix is a well established general discussion forum that originally opened to the public way back in 2009! We provide a laid back atmosphere and our members are down to earth. We have a ton of content and fresh stuff is constantly being added. We cover all sorts of topics, so there's bound to be something inside to pique your interest. We welcome anyone and everyone to register & become a member of our awesome community.

It's been a while since I last updated this, so I figure I should now considering we have some stuff going on.
We're doing a big holiday event in December, and while it's not fully team based in that everyone will be able to participate, regardless of whether or not they get put on a team, one can sign up to be put on a team here!
There's also the 2013 Member Awards nominations, which can be found here. You'll have to join to get nominated or nominate others, but you're more than welcome to do just that! 
The Holiday Bash sign ups close on the 29th, & the Member Award nominations close on the 30th, both at 11:59pm EST.
And finally, we are looking for people to join the staff team. Applications for that close on Saturday at 11:59pm EST. If you'd like to apply, you can do so here! If you do this, it would probably be in your best interest to get active on the community too so that we don't think you're just someone joining to be staff. xD

I've posted quite a few things today now that we've had our fun with April Fool's Day, so I'll just list them all below.
• Monthly Newsletter: April - This has pretty much everything listed below with some exceptions & also outlines what will be happening in the coming days, weeks, & months.
• PWN Grand Tournament - The member running this, Sanji, is still allowing people to nominate characters for this. The only two franchises you can't nominate characters from are Pokemon & Team Fortress 2. You will need 10 posts to post links, but that shouldn't be too hard since post count is turned on everywhere on the forum!
• 100 Themes Art Challenge - One of our moderators, TheProtobabe, has started this, & it would be great if this got more attention. (Our artsy sections in general could use some more love, really.) If you're an artsy person, you should definitely join us and participate in that!
• Monthly Theme Challenge: Writing - Our writing theme challenge for April focuses around the theme of Easter! Pieces don't even have to be Pokemon related to be submitted, all you have to do join, make some sort of writing about the theme, & post it!
• Monthly Theme Challenge: Art - We've also got an art monthly theme challenge~! The theme for April is spring. Again, pieces don't have to be Pokemon related to be submitted, so if you have something you want to submit, join & post it!
• Caption Contest: Pokemon Anime & Manga Style - One of our big events for this month is a caption contest. I've posted 10 anime images & 10 manga images, and all you have to do is make up a caption for one of them to be entered. The more images you caption, the more of a chance you have of winning! Also, if you join the URPG, you have a chance of getting a surprise for participating, so that's an added incentive if you wanted to join the URPG/already have joined the URPG~
• Mascot Voting Round 3 - This thread will be up for approximately a week, so check it out while you can! The Pokemon in this week's poll are Cherrim, Cascoon, & Delibird.

We're in the process of voting for our mascot, so if you want to help us with that, join & vote! We have an Easter Egg Hunt happening right now, where the winner(s) can get an HTML user title of their choice and all participants will receive a Pokemon Bank exclusive Pokemon!
