Looks like an interesting forum, I'm a huge Pokemon fan so I was thinking of registering. Probably tomorrow though since I just took advil PM.

I am curious though, when it comes to this rule does it mean I CAN advertise my blog in my signature or is that also reserved to stuff like videos? Just curious before I get in trouble for advertising my blog xD

Thanks for getting back to me! I'll be registering in the next few days, I was in the hospital for a few days after surgery. Just need time to get back on my feet!

Oh my! I hope all's well and that the recovery part goes smoothly!

Things happening right now on the site are as follows:
• Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Speculation Contest
• 100 Themes Art Challenge
• We have a Skype chat!
• Mascot Voting Round 7 - This will be ending sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening, but more rounds are to come, so if you miss this round, more will be coming. c:
• Movie Nights! - These are presently in the planning stages~ There's a survey you can take in that thread; all times are in PST, so if you need a time conversion, there's one of those in the thread too.
• Pokemon of the Month Nominations for June - This goes until 11:59pm EST on the 31st, but this is a monthly thing, so if you miss it, don't worry! There's always future months!

We're also looking for people to join task groups. c: If you're interested in helping out PWN, please feel free to check out this thread, and if you want to join a task group, go for it!
 
You can still sign up for task groups until the 21st of the month! We could still use people in all three task groups, and if you're interested in helping us expand to other social media outlets besides Twitter & Tumblr, you're more than welcome to help us out there! c: The help would be much appreciated!

The semi-final round of mascot voting is up! The round after this will be the finale, so go vote today to see who's going to be in the finals!!

Finally, we have new trial boards up in the Competitive Forum and the Relationships & Advice boards! Both of these trial boards go until September, so help make them active today!! Forum Clubs is also on a trial status until July, so if you'd like to help give that board a push in the right direction, you're welcome to do so.

We also have a blogging event going on until the end of the month. Click the link for more information & get your blog started today! An award will be issued for those that participate!
 
• Registration for the 2014 Birthday Extravaganza has begun! This goes until the 30th of this month at 11:59pm EST, and teams will be announced on the 31st. If you'd like to host an event, you're welcome to do that as well. c: We'd like all the help (and suggestions) we can get to make this event bigger and better than it was last year!

• Task group registration has been extended again until July 21st. Also, registration for the events staff group has been closed off completely until registrations for our Social Media and Outreach groups increase. We presently have two members in Social Media and one in Outreach, so some assistance in those regards would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys!

So our mascot voting is in a wee bit of a snag. We're in the very last round, and I was going to close it and announce the mascot, but then we hit a snag. It was at a 6-6 tie when I went to close it. So I asked people on our Skype chat to go and vote. And they did.

But when I went to go check up on it after I finished hosting an FFA for our URPG members, there was yet another tie. Four new votes, and an 8-8 tie.

So it would be much appreciated if you joined our forums and at the very least voted in this poll to help us decide on the mascot. :3 If there's no definitive winner by the time I go to close the poll later in the week, I'll just use AIM's dice roller to decide, but I would much rather see a definite winner chosen by the members. It would be great if you stuck around, but if you just want to help a rising community, that'd be great too!

Hi guys~ Just some things I'd like to share with you all today! :)

• One of our members has started up a Visual Arts Club, and it would be nice to see it grow. If you're a visual artist of some sort, please feel free to join it! Your artwork doesn't even really have to be Pokemon related to come and share it with us~

• Mascot voting is going through another round. We'd like to hear your opinions on our mascot, so if you could join and post, that'd be great!

• The 2nd Birthday Extravaganza is still taking registrations! If you would like to participate, please join! We'll be having a variety of events going on, and we'd love to see you participate! There are currently interest threads up for art events, Mafia, a variety of internet based games, and a question about whether or not you have a Google account for a potential event. Members are also welcome to host events, so if you have an event, feel free to let us know! :)

• Our Art Showcase has been organized and whatnot~ Further changes have come to the forum as a whole, but the Art Showcase has become more organized. :) All of the changes can be found in the following posts: x x x

• The July newsletter has been posted!

• The Grand Tournament has begun, and two new matches have been posted! This weeks matches are Jack Porter vs Captain Picard and Yusuke Urameshi vs Asuka Langley Sohryu. Come vote for your favorite today!

• Task Groups are still open! We could really use members in them, so if you're interested in helping PWN out, please come and join! Registration for these has been extended to July 21st!

• Finally, one of our members is interested in hosting a Mafia game separate from the birthday extravaganza! If you're interested in playing, come join us! The person hosting is looking to have a 12 man game (though more are welcomed!), and we're currently halfway there!

Our new mascot is Combee! New skins will be released soon, so keep an eye out for those once they're released~

Task group registration is ongoing until there are at least 5 people in each group. We could really use all the help we could get, so if you're interested in helping us out, check this thread out!

Finally, our birthday extravaganza is in its final week. There's a variety of events going on, from art to writing to caption contests & more! You don't have to be on a team to participate in any of the events, but myself & the event hosts would love to see more people participating in these events! It's the final week too, so it would be awesome to finish on a high note!
 
A lot's changed since I last posted here~

Firstly, we've updated to vB4! That said, links in the above posts won't work, though the link in my signature & in the first post will still direct you to PWN. Just the direct links to threads and boards on the forums won't work anymore. If any of you were trying to access PWN that way, I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you come to visit us still~! A lot of our old themes have gone out of commission since the upgrade, but we're working towards bringing those back, albeit slowly. Some new themes have also been implemented as well, and a couple of the old themes have been brought back as well. More new themes will come in the new year, but we'll definitely take suggestions for themes too!

Two major things happening right now on the forums. The first is the possibility of a Showdown server for the forums. If you were looking for a small forum with a Showdown server, now's your chance to try and get that hyped up and added to the forums~ Alternatively, if you have any other suggestions, you're welcome to throw those at us as well. Our annual Holiday Bash and Member Awards voting is going on now as well. All of that can be seen here, and you're welcome to participate in the events as desired!

Also, our award system has returned! We're in the slow process of bringing it back, but we'd love to have some award suggestions to help speed that process up a bit. Currently, the only awards available are for old contests and the previous years' member awards. Next year, we hope to release more awards, but your suggestions will definitely help us out with that~!
 
Some kinda bump~ We've got some new features like PokePets, and the DRPG has returned!
 
Hi friends~ We're preparing for our big summer event called the PWN Birthday Extravaganza! This is the third time we're doing this event, and it all coincides with the third anniversary of PWN on August 18th. There's going to be a variety of events such as art, writing, RP, stuff with our large scale RPGs, and more~ There's (hopefully) going to be something for everyone!

The event board can be found here, and a general information thread can be found here.

Other important links include the team creation information & approval thread and the free agent thread & the thread for members who wish to randomly be placed onto a team. Members this year can create their own teams and invite their friends to them or draft free agents onto their team or members can be randomly placed onto a team at the end of the month! We also have a general discussion thread here for any questions you may have or just discussing the event in general (or providing suggestions!). I can also answer any questions in regards to the event here on this forum as well.

We're also running a referral contest in conjunction with this event, the information for which can be found here.
 
Hello everyone! We're about 11 days away from kicking off our birthday extravaganza! Below are some links that may interest you!

Our Extravaganza Referral Contest is still under way! Join the forums, and then bring your friends over too! The PWN staff have also (jokingly) gone crazy with power in this Mafia event. To help save the world from the "tyranny" of the PWN staff, check our this link! We need at least 9 people for things to work out, but more is welcomed! We've already got 5 people in, so let's get some more friends in!

We've also got some other events that need hosts, all of which can be seen here. The help would be much appreciated, and if you're interested in hosting an event that's not on that page, that's cool too, just talk to us!

Finally, we have a few teams still looking for members. These teams are a great way to get to know other PWN members and to help you get involved in the community! Each team needs a minimum of 5 people to become a team, and the ones linked are the ones that are still under that minimum. The Green Hair Pirates, led by a former staff member named Zoro, is One Piece themed and currently has 4 people; don't be intimidated by the fact that all of its members are current or former staff! They're all great people! Magma is a foil to our already existing (and only official) team Neo Aqua! While Neo Aqua, led by one of our new members, Sou Cleife, is already an official team, Magma only has two members. :( We'd love to have both Aqua and Magma in this year's birthday extravaganza, so help Magma out by joining their team! Finally, we have the Jupiter Mining Corporation, a team based off a show called Red Dwarf, with only its leader, Vultan, as a member. This team could really use some members, so if you're interested in this team, definitely check them out!

The extravaganza begins August 1st, so join today!
