Pets and Old Age

So, I have a 16 year old cat I've had since I was 3 years old. He's an older cat but he's doing fairly well for his age. He's been a pal of mine and is probably my all time best friend.

Do you have any pets like this? Animals that have stuck by your side for many many years?

Aww I had a cat from being baby until I was about 16. His name was Max, he was an awesome cat! We basically grew up together

My poor Bruce was put down last year, he was 10 soon to be 11.
My cats lived till 12/13. Lot of our old dogs lived till 12 ish. I think Amber was 14.

I once found an abandoned newborn kitten. I took her home and had to feed her with an eye dropper. Since she never knew her mommy, she thought I was it. She was always following me around and always wanted to sit on my lap and sleep. I named her Babe. She passed away last Valentine's Day at the age of 17 years old.
