Have you ever played pickleball? Is it easy? What are the rules?

I've heard so much about it, but I don't understand what it is except tennis on a smaller court with different rackets. So confusing!

I'd like to think pickleball is like tennis but on a smaller court and you use a racket and a wiffleball.
