It's a recipe I got from the Frugal Gourmet--really good and easy

2 cans biscuits (I use the Texas style as they're a little bigger)

1 1 pound can spaghetti sauce

sliced pepperoni (about 40 or so)

1 pound ground chuck--browned and drained

2 cups shredded cheese (mozerella)

cut the biscuits into 1/4th's

place in a mixing bowl and add sliced pepperoni

browned ground chuck

and spaghetti sauce

Mix well

pour in a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish and bake at 350 for 20 minutes (or so, depending on oven)

when casserole is just about finished (3 to 5 minutes left) remove from oven add cheese to the top and finish baking.

Variations--add sliced onions, mushrooms, green pepper, black olives--whatever pizza toppings you like--before you cook this dish. It can be different every time.

Thanks for that!

I will have to get a couple of casserole dishes (one for the meat version, one for the veggie version, I'm veggie my fiance isn't) but then I will try it

The original recipe that I had didn't call for the pepperoni, but that's what my son loves....so that's what I make.

The dish can be different every time you make it. And it get's rave reviews at any pot luck dinner that I take it to.

mmmm good stuff. There was this one that you could buy and it had all the stuff in the box ready to go. It was really good.

Sounds pretty difficult, since it's me. But I shall try it with my mum, it can be like our little Sunday family activity. Also the different topics sounds like a fun idea, although everyone likes different things. XD

ugh! seeing as I am a Culinary Specialist in the Navy and I love cooking so much! I have come to despise 1,2,3 Step dinner meals! I prefer to make everything from scratch! Pizza Casserole is one thing that the Navy always takes off of the menu on the day its supposed to be made. However, seeing as I am responsible for feeding and keeping happy 20 Naval officers, I tend to keep it on there! They love when you add bite-size Italian sausage balls to it! (However for those with limited time to work with, I recommend purchasing pre-rolled sausage balls, they are about the size of a Skittle)

I love cooking--I just don't have the time anymore. With a 40+hour a week job, and running of a house hold--I have to cook what I have time for.

Before I had a public job--I made everything from scratch--still do when I have the time.

We seem to get some very different foods here in the UK to what you get in the USA....excuse my ignorance but what are the cans of biscuits? We must have something similar here that we just call a different name!

Oh--they're not cookies--which is what you call biscuits....

A biscuit is a.......scone, maybe--

Canned biscuits are a convenience food. Pre-made and in the dairy case at the grocery.
