The platform game (or platformer) is a video game genre characterized by requiring the player to jump to and from suspended platforms or over obstacles (jumping puzzles). It must be possible to control these jumps and to fall from platforms or miss jumps. The most common unifying element to these games is a jump button

So, have you played these sorts of games? If so, what do you like/dislike about them?

These genre of games are always one of my favourites, but what I don't like about some of them is how difficult they'd be when you play them. The Megaman games are a prime example of this, from tricky obstacles to get over to unpredictable AI of the bosses.

They have to have some difficulty, just jumping around isn't too great

Find one you can finish in 4!

Prince of Persia is probably my favorite video game series of all-time and in my opinion, it's platforming at it's best, and I love it!
